- T’Pau all perfect and severe interviewing Bones for the role of grandson-in-law while he clips his nails in his PJs, oh my god. Spock would walk into another wall if he knew
- Bones being an amazing player because he just sort of spouts whatever he feels off the top of his head. Excellent
- Poor Jim. He absolutely would fall for the ballerina demon twins who trapped him in a time loop because they were bored. Bones and Spock looking out for him was so sweet. The moment of Jim getting whacked in the chest by Chekov’s lacrosse shot was so lovely.
- Um yes you missed something vital my friend. This man is suffering in silence 4 u. Take a goddamn hint.
- Lmao Bones I am with you!! Skiing is cold and dangerous and it sucks!! It is ALL about staying toasty in your cabin with a nice beverage
- McCoy making eyes at Spock in the firelight with Jim snoring in his lap like “the baby’s sleeping”!!!!!!!!! Spones line of all time. My god. Such an exquisite fade to black on them (presumably) Distracting each other.
- McCoy getting carried away and space-sharpieing all over the bathroom killed me. Jim and Spock are such good bros for splitting that cost with him. The reveal that Bones was in the tub was so fun. You love to see Spock coming into the bathroom to bicker with naked McCoy again. Nature is healing.
- TERRIFIED at the “are you safe” message. Like ???? AHHHHH hasn’t our boy been through enough!?? I love that everyone in security volunteers to be McCoy’s bodyguard and Spock’s just like as this vessel’s First Officer,,,,, It is my duty to walk my crush to his bedroom every night
- OK but WHO IS IT, my first instinct is Hurd but that would be such a bonkers move. Surely not mirror people???????? Mirror Spock you better not fucking try it. Anon you better not be leaving a sinister clue in that Bones reads it in the mirror like a gd final girl, oh noooooOOOO
- The medical stuff continues to be so cool and creative. How the hell DO you treat a light being? You treat ‘em right.
- Such an ominous note to end on!! “Nothing will happen to me on the Enterprise” says local idiot who has gotten into shit on the Enterprise that nearly killed him three times already in this fic
