   So I had been wondering about the language, and just now read the AN out the top of the first chapter and my first thought is : "This punk is out here writing a whole new language for their fic! How Tolkien-esque"

      ha ha ha it needed one! i didn't want to use an existing language for appropriation reasons, and the cultural/language barrier is a really important part of the story. i'm glad you like it (hopefully! i was afraid it would make it too hard to follow)!
