I'm glad you're enjoying the fic! Soren is quite a fun character to write. He's so fed up with the people around him but also has a soft spot for them and I find it endlessly entertaining.
Ah... Good. If you're reeling after chapter 4 then it's all going according to plan. The aim was to traumatise my readers :)
