Jango is a character i find very nebulous (so much about him is locked up in extended universe material, a lot of which has questionable canonicity re: open seasons) so hearing that he and Arla came off similarly is very high praise! I do enjoy contrasting them against each other, how they view life and mando stuff and all that. WAY farther down the line i'm gonna explore why exactly Jango and Arla never reunited. Jango probably thought her summons weren't real, but also didn't *want* them to be real, because it puts his life's choices into question. and i will say arla was very passive about the whole thing? notice she expected *him* to come to her and stopped trying when he didn't.

that scene where A-45 turns his head was just meant to show that he'd spotted her (those good ol clone battle instincts) but i'm glad it hit well! The scene where Arla figures out what's going on took a few tries to get right but once i found the rhythm it turned out so impactful. i did not notice the farm connection i literally just chose Cut because he's the only named deserter in TCW...... you're right, she gives Cut the life that was taken from her and Jango......
Jango not wanting them to be real... Ohhh that's good. Like Jango not wanting the clones to be real. That itself lines up really well with Arla not thinking about the implications of the clone army until she actually sees a clone and recognizes them.
