Summary
Tony falls at Peter’s side, feeling his heart hammering away in his chest with adrenaline as he looks down at the kid, who’s blankly up at the sky, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. Fear shoots through Tony when he sees that the kid’s face is an angry red and beginning to swell up.
“Peter! Peter!” He yells as he shakes, only to get a choked wheeze in response. “Kid what’s wrong? Talk to me.” Tony pleads, carefully holding the teen’s face in his hands.
Peter’s eyes slide over and met Tony’s, only to feel his blood run cold when he sees the pure terror in the teen’s eyes.

Peter lets out a shuddering breath, and turns his head so it’s resting on Tony’s chest, hearing his heartbeat underneath his ear. It’s steady and strong.
“Was it about him again?” Tony asks after a moment.
Peter silently nods against his chest. This wasn’t the first time Tony has witnessed him waking up from a nightmare about Beck. If anything, the dreams were getting progressively worse.
“He’s gone. It was just a bad dream, Pete. He’s gone, I promise you.” Tony whispers.
