When the most elusive vigilante Musutafu has ever seen - or not seen in this case - who has been rumoured to have a teleporting quirk for the ease with which he avoided arrests is seen motionless in such an exposed space… He had no doubts the kid was letting Shouta find him, at this point.
It might have been a trap.
Based on what he knew of the kid, he doubted that very much.

He wasn’t even subtle about it, walking just barely a couple steps behind Izuku. Even after Izuku had insisted he could get home on his own.
Guess that’s what you get when a hero finds you on a roof, preparing to jump.

Summary
Izuku has never been in Principal Nedzu’s office before, but a vague office-like space housing the rodent featured heavily in his dreams.
They were mostly nightmares; for whatever reason, Nedzu got involved with the investigation into Izuku’s vigilante activities, instantly figured out his identity and was gleefully telling him he’d never become a hero.
Logically, Izuku knew this wasn’t going to happen. Eraserhead - Aizawa-sensei - wouldn’t bring him all the way to the UA if the principal was going to reject him. But logic had no place in his mind right then, all the space having been taken up by anxiety.

Izuku snorted. “Quirk?” He repeated. “I don’t have one!”
The villain faltered. “But-?” His fingers scratched furiously. “But you’ve defeated Kurogiri, you have to have some powerful quirk-”
“I was born without a power,” Izuku said, and oh, he had been dying to deliver that line, flashing the globe of gunk in between his fingers. “So I made this.”
He flicks the marble towards handsy’s feet and it expands, trapping him in place.
“Self-made superpower,” Izuku grins and tases the gunk.

“Such a hypocrite you are,” Aizawa purred, stepping a little closer. “You’ve hurt Izuku rather badly, you know? Just because he’s quirkless.”
“I just wanted to save him the disappointment later on!” All Might argued.
“Spare him the disappointment? You were the only one dishing it out!” Aizawa’s expression turned into rage, forcing All Might to take a step back, falling back down on the bed. “And now… You owe him your kneecaps, Yagi.”
All Might scrambled through the bed, lounging towards the exit, Aizawa hot on his heels.
