“Ethan!” That’d be Chris. Ethan’s ears already rang, knowing what was coming next, “You can’t just do that!”
“You’ll have to elaborate, I did a lot of things,” Ethan replied.
“Everything,” Chris sighed exasperated, “I told you to call for backup if you needed it.”
“I didn’t need it.”
“Ethan,” Chris reprimanded, “we don’t know if you destroying a base will have an impact on how other crime syndicates form.”
“They’re gonna form regardless of how I go about saving my husband,” Ethan said, not letting himself be berated for doing the right thing, “you should know that.”
