Just a short piece detailing my understanding of how A/B/O dynamics work. This understanding is what I have in mind when I write A/B/O fics, and may therefore be interesting to read if you have read any of the stories where I use A/B/O dynamics as a plot device.

Although you were laying still in the bed, your mind was far from quiet. You ran through scenarios of how today was going to pan out, your head spinning as different scenarios and situations darted through your brain, each worse than the one before.
What was upsetting you the most, undoubtedly, was the fact you didn’t know how today was going to go. You never thought you and Sam would be in this situation, and yet, here you were…pregnant and about to tell Sam that he was going to become a father.

Summary
After being raped by an unknown Alpha during a heat while his father and brother are away on a hunt, Omega Sam has to deal with falling pregnant. The plan was for him to give birth at the safety of Bobby's house, but a hunt and Sam going into labour early mean that Dean has to be the one to get his baby brother through the birth on his own.
