Summary
Technoblade heaved a long, despondent sigh. “I can’t believe I let you talk me into showing you where I work.”
“To be fair,” piped Niki from the back seat, “Ranboo was the one who guilted you into taking all of us. As a ‘Fun Syndicate Bonding Outing’.”
Ranboo smiled at Techno from the passenger seat, being the tallest and therefore only able to sit in the front. “You didn’t have to agree. I only asked because Phil told me to.”
Techno grumbled and kept his eyes on the road. Phil leaned back in his own seat, his hat tipped down over his eyes. “Had to bring out the big guns. And you can’t say no to Ranboo.”
Techno glanced in the rearview mirror. “I will kick you out of this car and leave you on the side of the road, Philza Minecraft. Do not test me.”
Phil perked up and grinned, a wild light in his eyes. “Bet.”

“Mind holding onto him while I do a quick checkup?”
“Sure. No problem.” He smiled down at the bird as it tried to peck at his fingers. He had more than a few scrapes and beak marks already. “Not like this really hurts or anything.”
Puffy hissed in sympathy as she and Sneeg started checking the bird over. “We’ll get that patched up after we finish with this guy. Oh, uh. I’m Puffy. I run this place. This is Dr. Sneeg Snag.”
“Hullooo,” he drawled and winced as the bird managed to get his thumb with its beak. “Ow. I’m Techno. Uh. Blade. Techno Blade.”
Sneeg looked up from where he was examining the bird’s head. “Like the boxer?”
“Ah yup. Former boxer, now. Currently I’m just kinda...Not doin’ much. Gardenin’. My roommate and his wife have been trying to get me into other hobbies.” He paused. “Why am I tellin’ you this?”
