The first relationship failed because the person got offended that Lilia didn’t want him to meet his barely a year old child. The second failed because Lilia realized he’ll always put Silver first, and not everyone had the patience for that. Just as well, he had no patience for those kinds of people anyway. Hence why he was the one to end things.

Malleus blinks several times. It takes him a moment before he realizes there’s laugher in the mix of all the cries. With a sigh, he picks up both children, one on each arm.
