Summary
“Wait,” Mimic blinked. He was too dumbfounded by the absurdity to be flattered by her unexpected fangirling. “You want me to use my powers, used to help facilitate countless dangerous missions, even saving your life at one point, all for your entertainment because you were awoken prematurely?”
“I’m sure Claire and Smithy wouldn’t mind.” Whisper gave a cheeky smile which even Mimic acquiesced would be hard to say no to. It was a smile of mischief and glee, and who was he to reject that?
Mimic gave an exasperated sigh. “Just give me a signed promise that you’ll absolve me from all involvement when Claire and Smithy inevitably claim our lives tomorrow.”
Whisper was unlucky enough to be denied service by the Sandman, and Mimic was unlucky enough to share a bunk bed with her. Being the good Samaritan he was, he reluctantly accepted the moaning wolf’s complaints and demands for him to entertain her until she felt sleepy again. Provided he didn’t fall asleep first.
This fic is intended to be the sequel to Untold Tales of the Undead.
