Sophie tugs nervously at her eyelashes with one hand, reminding Tiergan painfully that however brave and brilliant she is, she’s still an anxious teenager trying to find her place in this world. “I- I wasn’t sure about this, but I figured that you would get it.”Before Tiergan can ask what ‘it’ is, she pulls out a necklace from under her tunic.
