“Then who-” But before Daniel had time even to finish his sentence, the door flew open as if on its own accord, and the creature Daniel least expected to show up at his Christmas dinner walked in.
There, dressed casually in what appeared to be dirty old jeans, a black t-shirt reading “Balenciaga” in huge red gothic letters, a leather messenger bag and the ugliest sunglasses Daniel had ever seen, stood the vampire Lestat, completely at home in the tiny foyer his apartment, grinning at him like the worst dressed Cheshire cat in history.
Oh, no, he thought. Oh, hell, no.
“Oh, hell no!” Exclaimed Armand, coming to stand next to Daniel.
Lestat merely rolled his eyes, charging forward, bumping shoulders with the both of them as he made his way to the unusually tidy living room.
