Orion likes to help people, first and foremost.

Using all of the knowledge he has at his disposal to help his Pokémon grow, using the Ranger training given to him by his parents to help those in the wild, and using the powers he's found himself with, he often finds himself in situations that one really should try to avoid. It's not like he'd have a choice, but the powers that be appreciate his cooperation nonetheless. His friends, on the other hand... well...

Given the opportunity, they'd have some words with certain people. And certain Legendary Pokémon.

Notes:

There is... a lot of inspiration from a lot of fics for this series that I'm writing.

The big ones are as follows:
The series Long Journey Home by CureIcy, DinoDraws, and HopeStoryteller. Primarily the Fall into Flying fic, though the entire series is very good. Reading FiF gave me the confidence to actually post the first fic I started working on for this franchise. I'm in the process of reading Pokemon: Shattered Diamond, and I love it so far.
Borne of Caution and Borne of Desire fics by Fuggmann over on Fanfiction.net (These link to their reposts here on AO3, which were posted with permission from the original author by VibeLordess). The origin for the character I wrote for this series is inspired by Lee from BoC, though my character is more of a self-insert (adding that to the tags now, oops!).

I'll probably add to the list at the bottom of this note as time goes on and I rediscover fics I've read, because a good deal of fics I took inspiration from haven't updated in a good while.
