“Hey…” Angel pulled him out of his thoughts, his voice small. “Say, if that reincarnation thing was true. You could come back…would you bother to search for me?”
“Well, that depends… If my memories stayed with me, then I’m sure I would.”
“I wouldn’t,” Angel said, looking down at Aki. "When I reincarnate, I won’t look for you.”
“Didn’t expect you to do it,” Aki admitted nonchalantly with a shrug.
“I’m too lazy for that. But I am good at waiting. I’ve waited in that cell for decades before I met you. I would wait for you, however long it would take. Every atom of me would yearn for every atom of you, to see eachother again and cling so close as to never let go ever again.”
