'Percy heard himself make a weird sound, something between a groan and a gasp, and his lack of control over the noise was somehow one of the scariest things so far. Topped only by the amount of blood that seemed to be coming out of him and the look on Poseidon’s face.'
Had Poseidon been more open, Percy might not have been in this position. Instead he was bleeding into the sea. He still wasn't sure what the hell was going on.
