Summary

Summary
Companion to "Saving Evan". Buck is kidnapped while unsuccessfully attempting to prevent a child's abduction. The rest of the 118 try to find and rescue them, deal with the emotional fallout and feelings of survivor's guilt and helplessness as the search hits dead end after dead end. To make matters worse, Captain Nash suffers a devastating injury. The whole 118 "extended family" must work together to get everyone home, and help each other heal. Alternating POVs by chapter.
