Romantic, sure, and maybe, maybe he’d gotten a bit soft lately—fine, he’d gotten a lot soft, especially when it came to Aziraphale—but that didn’t mean they had to be out here, cutting down a bloody Christmas tree by hand, just to make it special. Miracles existed for a reason.

Crowley had never cared for Valentine’s Day. Too commercial, too sappy, too many people declaring their love in public as if that wasn’t the most embarrassing thing a person could do. It was all dramatic declarations, overpriced wine, couples giggling over some tiny dessert that cost more than a decent bottle of whiskey.
