Summary
"Chris has A+ blood" His voice is soft, almost a whisper, like he's admitting to something far deeper than a medical fact.
Buck's face brightens, his usual, easy grin lighting up as he exclaims, "Hey, just like me!"
Eddie's heart stops. Just like Buck. The words echo through his mind, twisting and turning, his head swimming as he tries to ground himself. A+ isn't exactly rare,he tells himself, grasping for logic. Around 34% of people in the USA have it, after all. It could mean nothing.
"Yeah" he mutters, trying to sound amused, but his heart's racing, and he knows Buck can tell something's still off.
"Wait..." Buck's voice is barely above a whisper, as if speaking too loudly might shatter whatever Eddie has left. "Is that... is that what you're overthinking?" Buck asks, his voice shaky and tentative. "Is there something wrong with that?"
"Shannon and I are both B negative"
"But— how is that even possible?" he stammers, even as the knowledge settles on him like lead.
"It's not."// OR // The world is a small place and destiny loves to play pranks so this is the Buck is Chris biological dad fic

Summary
“You think we should tell our parents?” he asked softly, glancing at Buck.
Buck hesitated, placing the bowls in the sink before leaning against the counter. “I don’t know. Your family… I mean, they might have some strong opinions.”
Eddie snorted. “You mean like calling Shannon a—” He stopped, shaking his head. “Yeah, they’d blow it way out of proportion. They don’t need to know. They’ll just… complicate things.”
Buck nodded in agreement, his lips pressed into a thin line. “And my parents? Forget it. They’d make it all about them. Somehow, I’d end up apologizing for existing.”
“Exactly.” Eddie gave him a knowing look. “So, we don’t tell them. Simple as that.”// OR // The one of the shenanigans and family, the good and the bad

Summary
Chris gestured dramatically. “They always have these… moments. Like, when they were just friends, they acted like a couple anyway—cooking together, talking about everything, annoying me with their weird jokes. That’s just who they are. But now? Ever since papá moved in, they’re worse. They do all this cute stuff in public spaces in the house—the kitchen, the living room—it’s like they forget I live there too.”
Maddie grinned. "Define 'cute stuff'"
Chris threw his hands in the air. "Dancing in the kitchen. Calling each other dumb nicknames. Complimenting each other like they're in some rom-com. One time, Buck called dad's eyes 'cow eyes' and it turned into this whole thing about how beautiful brown eyes are"
Maddie laughed so hard she almost choked on her water. "Cow eyes?!"
Chris nodded solemnly. "I had to listen to Buck recite poetry about dirt and coffee and autumn leaves. It was a nightmare. And dad didn't even argue! He tried to compliment papá back, and it was just as bad. They didn't even notice when I told them to stop!"
Maddie wiped tears of laughter from her eyes. "You poor kid. That does sound pretty awful."Series

Summary
Chris gets himself a part time job in a bakery.
It’s not something they need because they are having problems with money or anything but because Chris wanted to.
The bakery is one close to their house, it’s a small family run business. The owner, his wife and their daughter. Everything started because she was about to start college after her sabbatical year that extended to almost 3 already, but she didn’t want to leave her parents on their own without finding a replacement first. The problem started more with the fact that the little friendly family has this investigation going about which one of the men that accompanied him and sometimes picked him up was the biological one.

Summary
“I’m a 14 year old male and I just got told that my dad (33) and I might not be biologically related.”
Buck glanced at his phone as the TikTok autoplayed into a new video. It was one of those Minecraft parkour clips with a voiceover—the kind where someone talked about family drama or secret relatives while hopping over lava blocks.
“Both him and my possible real biological dad sat me down and I just need to get this out of my chest. They don’t know if my mom knew, we can’t ask her either, but they suggested we do a DNA test and I agreed. I didn’t ask many questions, they told me something about blood types incompatibility but it’s late, and I’m tired, so I didn’t dig further.”
His stomach twisted.
Okay…
That was… very specific.
His grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles went pale, and then he slowly, almost reverently, set it back against the napkin holder like it might break if he held on any tighter.
The edges of his thoughts curled in like burning paper.
No way.
It couldn’t be.
Chris wouldn’t… post this.
Would he?// OR // The one where Buck listens to Chris' side of the story
