Summary
Gem is the daughter of one of the most powerful families in Dawn. When she runs away, she is rescued by a mysterious knight and becomes aware of a plot to kill her family and take their spot on the council. With the help of the knight and a few other allies, Gem must take back her rightful seat on the council and help bring peace back to Dawn.

Summary
Death has followed Scott throughout his life, so much so that he's learned how to reverse it. He uses the resurrection magic sparingly, only having done it once before, but when one of his closest friends is killed in war he must do what he can. This leads to more problems than it solves, as the resurrection causes a domino effect of issues to occur. Scott has to deal with these, all while juggling the politics that come with running a country.

Summary
During the last year of her schooling, Shelby is assigned to live in the most dangerous place in the Unnamed Lands. Nothing will go wrong, she was told, but there are forces out of her control working against her as she attempts to do her work.
Through this work, though, she meets the citizens of a colony ravaged by disease, an archaeologist attempting to learn the secrets buried underneath the land, and a princess with more secrets than the trees that Shelby has found herself surrounded by. They teach her more than her schooling ever could.
