Summary
The military recognized the high stress rate, high mortality rate, and the low rate of children/descendants among special forces.
They decided they couldn’t lose the genetics of good soldiers from the general populous (even if those soldiers didn’t raise the kids) so they decided to get two birds with one stone: They require all Special Forces operatives to participate in a stress reduction program, and all males in a sperm donation program.

Summary
Johnny wasn’t a nesting type alpha. Hell, he wasn’t technically an alpha at all. His pediatrician had called him a Sigma, but young John had never heard of that. The doctor explained “they are a rare type, similar to an alpha-” and John stopped listening at that point. He was an alpha and didn’t think more on it. Every time someone asked (for personal or professional needs) he just said alpha. The medics did have his type properly as Sigma but they couldn’t tell him how he was different from a regular alpha, so they didn’t make it a big deal.

Summary
The Ministry of Cultural Heritage oversees a variety of things that impact the country’s culture, but most importantly (invasively) they manage unbonded omegas through the matchmaking department. The officers are tasked with enforcing the bonding mandate by “encouraging” matches between pairs. They have quotas for such.
The first time Simon got assigned MCH Guard Duty he didn’t know what it meant, really. He’d been thoroughly trained in both hand to hand fighting and how to subdue people without injury. He hadn’t responded at all to the deep distressed scent of the omegas they picked up, and the official with him had nothing but high praise for how he handled and then *didn’t keep* the target.
In his nearly three years of working periodically with the Ministry, Simon had never once even blinked in the direction of the omegas. And he had a 100% return rate for missions. It made him the most requested guard.
He was on a reconnaissance mission when things went to shit and his record broke.
