Summary
Set after The Reichenbach Fall, series 3 is an alternate version of Sherlock's third season.
John Watson struggles to find his place in the world without the consulting detective, and he finds his footing helping Lestrade keep a murderer Sherlock put away behind bars, even after the accused attempts to overturn evidence based on Sherlock's confessed fraud. Molly Hooper struggles in the aftermath of Sherlock Holmes, as her coworkers mistrust her and question her judgment. With past cases coming under question and new criminals taking over the power void, the consulting detective struggles to maintain his death while dismantling James Moriarty's network.
