“If you can still look gorgeous after taking down a villain, I don't think ‘bad’ hair is that big of a concern.”Taking the cap off the bottle, Hizashi misted Shouta's hair with the oil. Putting some on his hands, the blonde carted through the other's hair bringing the oil close to his scalp. Using his pinkie finger from the front of Shouta's hairline to the back of his scalp before spraying his hair with the oil again. The blonde repeated this on the other side of his lover's hair before twisting it into a loose bun and clipping it up.

Hizashi has a hunch that Shouta has curly hair. Hizashi helps Shouta navigate the new products and teaches him how to diffuse his hair before their date night. The first 4000 is Hizashi washing Shouta’s hair (autistic meltdown in the bathtub included). The remaining 3000 are getting ready for a date.Series

A crew of bikers speeded past in the outside lane. Shouta casted a longing glance towards them. Watching their tail lights get smaller and smaller as they chased adrenaline and danger. Another reminder of days long gone. Hizashi downshifted, slowing down as he merged into the inside lane, slowly becoming aware of his husband's voice. Singing foreign syllables that he'd learnt just to woo the blonde in their earlier years.
“You know,”
“What do I know, my love?” Hizashi asked sweetly,
Shouta turned his head back to look at Hizashi, a quiet intensity in his eye as he pulled Hizashi towards him by his tie, “I wouldn't mind helping you or even watching you as you pleasured yourself, every once in a while.” Bringing a finger to shut Hizashi’s mouth which had fallen open in shock.—
Hizashi and Shouta go out for date night. Reminiscing as they drove, Shouta discovered incriminating pictures Hizashi took during their youth, a whole lot of heated kissing, an emotional discussion about Shouta’s difficulty with intimacy, reassurance of love and affection, emotional support liquorice and Christmas music.Series

“May I worship you for a bit?” a light of intensity dancing in his eyes.
His husband's curly hair thrown back in a dark halo as he arched his back, whining loudly. Hizashi’s hair fell over his right shoulder and into his face, the ends of his hair dancing lightly along Shouta’s thigh. Pulling about halfway out Hizashi slowly started moving, watching his husband’s face for anything other than bliss.
Shouta drew in a breath, “I was wondering if you’d be up for another round?”
“Are my ears deceiving me? You want to go again?”
“Well, in all technicality, yes, but in actuality, I want to eat you out and then see how I feel. Is that okay?”Calming himself from his state of mild hysteria, Shouta reached for the abandoned cloth, gently wiping at Hizashi’s stomach and sides. Goosebumps following the cloths wake as the cold fibers brushed over skin.

Shouta asks if Hizashi would be down to have sex. Hizashi worships Shouta, showing him the physical version of his love for the ebony haired man. Safewording and a second round later, Shouta startles Hizashi allowing them to come to the sudden conclusion that Hizashi’s hearing has worsened significantly.Series

“We’ve had knives closer to killing us than this. Stop being stupid.” Shouta muttered, breathing deeply, “It's just a razor blade. We're fine. I'm the one holding it. We are okay. Just get it over and done with.” Glancing up at the mirror, Shouta frowned, struggling to recognise himself. Glaring spitefully into one's own reflected eye was always an experience. Recognising a look of loathing only reserved for moments of pure resentment.
It wasn't as early as he thought it was, only 8:17ish, not the five am he was unfortunately accustomed to. Quiet hours ended at 8am. Upstairs neighbors are already clattering about in their kitchen, undoubtedly leading unburdened lives, chairs dragging noisily against hard flooring. He needed to get out of his own head. The pair ate quietly. Occasionally insisting on feeding the other spoonfuls of their own meals despite them being exactly the same.
He was so tired. His limbs were heavy. Like his hearing was underwater, as if it was any better before, he could hear even less. The bird in his chest had claws. Its flight had left him bleeding internally.
“You obviously don't like this place.” Shouta stated.
Hizashi hummed, eyes glassy and distant.

Summary
Hizashi's lungs rattled against his ribs with each breath he took. Reaching Shouta’s car, leaning a hand against the door. A wave of nausea drowned him.
“Oh dear god, I need therapy, don't I?" Hizashi talked loudly over the music to the interior of the car, pressing the sides of his index fingers to his lip, fingers interlaced as if in prayer, “Shou’ will understand. He will. You know he will.”
Hizashi stroked at his husband's jaw. Finally plucking up the courage to look at the man resting on him. A sob wracked through him as he saw pity in his husband's understanding eye. Fingers coming to wipe the tears that had leaked from the dark haired man’s left eye. “Don’t cry, Shou’, I can't change my, my past.” Hizashi hiccuped

Summary
Shouta turned from the window to look at where his husband was led. Bleary green eyes watching him. “Thank god, you’re finally awake.”
“Mnhh.” A weak hand beckoning his lover.
“I’m coming. Chill, okay.”
Shouta stood from the uncomfortable chair he was sitting in. Shaking his leg back to life from pins and needles as he tossed his book onto the window sill. Carrying the chair over to the left side of Hizashi’s bed. Taking his husband's left hand as he sat down.

Hizashi shook out his hands, taking a deep breath, “Shou’, there's something I need to talk to you about.”
The hands running conditioner through his hair stilled for a moment before continuing, “Have I done something?"
“No, it's about something I said…” Hizashi paused, “A while ago. But, um, I feel really bad about it even though it was a couple months ago.”

Hizashi wakes up from anesthesia and (badly attempts to) flirt with his husband. While Shouta helps Hizashi to wash his hair a few days after the operation, Hizashi recognises his own fault and apologises to Shouta about something that he said three months prior.

Summary
Shouta’s hands gently kneaded at his residual, fingers digging into his quad, praying that the pressure would lessen the pain in leg he didn't have.
To nobody's surprise: it didn't.
A forced deep breath, a wince through gritted teeth as his ribs protested the air that kept him alive. Shouta had been in worse pain than this before, so why was he shaking? Another muffled groan as pain shot up his spine.
“Blow ‘yer nose.” Hizashi looked at his husband expectantly.
A defiant huff.
“Shouta. You are not getting sick because you didn't blow your nose after crying.”
Shouta hadn't had this bad of a flare in a while. Wardrobe doors flung open, piles of inside out clothes littered the floor, drawers half open after being emptied onto the floor in a frantic, desperate, search for something comfortable.

Shouta’s has a really nasty flare up (chronic and phantom pain) and a low spoon day. Has been physically unable to look after himself, breaks down when Hizashi asks to look after him, rants about how society views disabled people and eventually lets Hizashi look after him by way of a bath, Hizashi’s mum’s miso soup and a cuddle.
