Summary
James Webb nearly freezes to death on an MI5 training exercise. River Cartwright saves his life. No one behaves well about it.
Naked body heat sharing, emotional trauma, Shakespeare during dirty talk, and a postcard that comes far too late.
**
“Yes, Spider,” Cartwright says, dryly. “It’s all part of an elaborate plan where I join the Secret Service just so I can end up on a training exercise with you in the Brecon Beacons and somehow engineer it so we fall in a river at minus 2 windchill, and have no recourse but to get into a sleeping bag together. You saw right through me, with your Holmes-like skills of deduction. I couldn’t have just, like, asked you out for a drink or something. If I wanted to be naked with you that badly.”Series

Summary
River Cartwright learns early that hope is dangerous and love is something other people get to keep. James Webb learns the same lesson differently. A mirror to Cold Bodies.
Note: Contains dubious consent due to a hypothermia survival scenario involving naked body heat sharing. No sexual activity takes place, but one character is aroused while the other is unconscious/delirious (i.e. lack of full consent is situational, not predatory)
**
'And so River’s heart does a dangerous thing, something it really should know better than to do by now: it hopes.'

Summary
Spider spends his resurrection visiting his own grave, waiting for something he refuses to name. River spends his grief trying not to want anything at all.
AKA: I stop being a sadist and finally give them (the promise of) a Happy Ending! (Also, it was fully my intention to write some proper capital S Smut for this fandom, but instead it just went very PG - romantic though!)
*
'It’s the same feeling as recovering from the hypothermia. Kissing River is like thawing out a frostbitten limb, all the life and feeling rushing back, and it hurts. It hurts so much James can hardly stand it. It is the most glorious pain he has ever felt. River’s tongue tangles with his and his blood turns to sunlight, hot and bright all through him.'

Summary
A series of silly, soft, slightly filthy drabbles set after the events of the Bodies Trilogy. Two traumatised men finally get to be stupidly, hornily in love - with no graves, daddy issues, or hypothermia in sight. Just fluff, banter, and the kind of intimacy they should have had years ago.
