“You suit the cowboy look,” Buttons flicks the brim of his hat, leaning against his shoulder slightly as he walks them off set.
“Oh I do, do I?” Tenna grins down at her, before adjusting his grip so he can hold her one handed. The other tips his hat at her, and he begins talking in a smooth southern drawl. “Well howdy there, lil’ miss. What's a polite young lady such a’ yourself doin’ in a dirty part of town like this?”

Buttons’ laugh cuts him off, a snort so ugly it sends the remote into a stifled replay. “God, could you imagine? Just out there making a fool of myself in my school uniform. ‘God, Dad, you never let me talk to boys!’ ’Oh Dad, can you help me with my homework?’ ‘Love you, daddy!’ It would be… so…”
Her voice trails off slowly as she looks back up at Tenna, syllables slowing to a half as she takes in the stunning pink of his face. The way his hand twitches around his glass, and the sudden way he’s leaned back to cross a leg over the other-
“Oh my god, are you hard?”

She shakes his hand off, rubbing a hand over her face in frustration. “I swear on your life, Tens, if you’ve sex drugged me, I’m going to turn on your closed captions for a week, and let your employees see all the mean thoughts you have about them.” The words grouse out, before Buttons’ hand lowers to cover her mouth and her eyes glare at him over top of the limb. “You’ve sex drugged me, haven’t you.”
“I-” Tenna winces, dragging out the syllable for a few seconds, tugging on his collar, “- might have? Done that? Unintentionally?”
