Summary
He’s never hated her more, not in all their lives. Not when he’d burned through all his regenerations and was living on anger alone. Not when he’d woken at the end of the universe to the sound of the drums. He hates that she’s so much of his life, and he’s so little of hers. Hates that he misses her. Hates that he wants her. Wants her mouth against his, wants her mind, wants her skin under his teeth, his hands around her neck, her hands in his hair.
Snippet from the companion!O au which has been rotating in the microwave of my brain for months now. I am taking him apart and putting him back together worse.

Summary
The Doctor is still talking to Yaz when The Master leaves, both of them whispering in the room with the mirror (“are you saying we’re now on the Solitract plane?”). He turns away, stamping down the jolt of emotion he’d felt hearing her mention Gallifrey, even so indirectly.
And finds her standing on the steps, eyes wild.
How would the Solitract have tricked The Master if he'd been in its plane?
