Summary
How far would you go to protect those you love?
After a mission goes awry in the worst way possible, Robin and Kid Flash end up in the nearest hospital with severe injuries. As a natural night owl and Dick’s guardian, Batman volunteers to watch over them as Bruce Wayne in the first shift of concerned leaguers. It was meant to be quick, just checking on them and then leaving for home. However, what was supposed to be a simple act of kindness turns into an emotional obligation when a hurricane ravages the coast, knocking out the power, flooding the area and stranding the three heroes. With deteriorating medical equipment, no way of calling for help and no solid backup plan, Bruce is forced to rely on his sheer determination and wits. As looters grow bold, and hallucinations set in, the pressure is mounting…he has to rest eventually.
