Summary
Unfortunately, thirty minutes into the party, his glass of mojito has nearly run dry, Sooyoung and Sangah aren’t here yet, and somebody slides into the seat next to him. He’s so absorbed in the webnovel he’s reading that he doesn’t even look their way, but then that person clears their throat, catching his attention anyway.
When Dokja does look up, three scenes pop up in his head:
- Han Sooyoung, earlier this week, saying there’s a limit to how much you can run away;
- Han Sooyoung, this morning, saying you’ll regret this; and
- Himself, two years ago in Toronto, saying, I don’t think I can do this anymore, Yoo Joonghyuk.
or: Kim Dokja's convoluted relationship with figure skating and Yoo Joonghyuk told through a love story that spans fourteen years.

Summary
Like this, Dokja is so close to him, but it’s not nearly close enough. Joonghyuk never wants to let go of Dokja again. He wants to engrave the sound of Dokja's moaning into his skull, wants Dokja's come on his abs to stain forever, wants the scratches Dokja leaves on his back to never heal.
After getting back together, Joonghyuk and Dokja make love.
