Luz begins to juggle her time between home, hanging out with her new friends, and working on amazing science projects. And wondering why a certain mint-haired mean girl seems to leave slime around wherever she goes. However, this new job is not all that it seems, and an unforeseen accident leads to events that no one, especially Luz, could have ever predicted.

A realm of magic was only a dream constrained by harsh reality. Cyprus Bishop lived a comfortable life on the Boiling Isles as a young, troublesome witch whose desire for freedom obscured respect. The palace was the only place she knew, disconnected from the outside world of the Emperor's Coven. The coven system was alive with successful witches spreading peace across the fallen Titan, but Cyprus despised her sheltered life and begged to venture beyond the walls; this ultimately led to her acceptance to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics where coexisting with others was her first step as a powerful witch.
Although Cyprus originally planned to develop her magic, she encountered Eda Clawthorne, the renowned Owl Lady, and consequently secured a position in the Owl House while consumed by her origins. Her focus was persistently drawn to a young prodigy established as the Emperor's trusted right-hand. Since childhood, he sparked her interest, nurturing a desire to learn and explore alongside him, despite the confining walls of the palace keeping them apart. Overcoming her fears, Cyprus yearned to understand these intricate emotions after a human appeared on the Boiling Isles.

Summary
Hunter had lived a rather expectant life. He was expected to do well, and would never settle for less. He was the best that the coven had to offer. Hunter was fine with being second best to the Emperor. When Hunter is assigned a new mission, one to recruit students to covens as quickly as possible.
Hunter has never been to school before, but he's sure he'll be able to fit in. Hunter's smart, witty (he thinks), and obedient. Hunter knows his worth. The Titan has big plans for him after all. He's sure to fit in well at school. He's sure he'll be able to sway people into covens that may or may not determine their fate for the rest of their lives. Which is good.
Things are strange at school. There are things he expected, like lunch (he packs his own), rules and authority. The kids his age are strange, they seem to bicker with their parents a lot, laze around, and talk a lot without reason.
None of them seem suitable for the coven, in Hunter's eyes. Nobody here seems eager, worthy for the coven. Except one.
Or: Hunter goes to school and thinks he's better than everyone for a while until he meets Breeze, someone who wants to be one of the best witches on the isles, and a perfect fit for the coven.
