It's 1983 —junior year, and Eddie's life is on a downward tilt from bad to worse. Bullies hate him, teachers don't believe in him, and his support network is limited at best. So when Eleven, a long forgotten figure from his past, resurfaces on the same night multiple kids from the town vanish into thin air, the two team up with the loved ones of those affected to get to the bottom of the dark experiment pumping through the heart of Hawkins.
What Eddie never expected was the road to the truth would lead them back to the steps of his own broken home, even into the very core of himself.

Without really processing what Robin said or thinking of an actual response Nancy- or rather her subconscious - snarls under her breath: “Get out, I don’t ever want to see you again.”

Talking about emotions has always been the bane of Nancy’s existence, so much so that she rather not talk to someone for two years after a big fight than open up. Only now she was forced to.

Basically a multichapter alternate retelling of Stranger Things, where I would've liked the show to have gone after s1 instead of where it went. Jancy focused but will incorporate everyone else from s1 and a few from s2, and deal with the Upside Down, the Lab, the monsters and conspiracy, in a different way than canon did post s1.

Mike Wheeler and Jane Ives have been the best of friends all their lives, but have recently started to drift apart. Mike's bitter and upset with Jane, Jane wishes Mike would just talk to her. Once, Jane and her best friend Sara Hopper had been part of the Party but ever since they became part of Jennifer Hayes' circle of friends they've since stopped hanging out with the boys.
It's no longer the story you all know. Even if sometimes the events you know and love still transpire. -
