Prompted on Tumblr: "Prompt: Speedy Recovery and Raptoramaker Double-Date. "
I took liberties with it, though, and it's not exactly that. Speed prompt, written in 50 minutes.

Someone asked me to write Raptoramaker (Pharah/Widow), and the only way I could think of making that work without really rough hate sex (which I also wrote here) was to write something pre-Canon. Here's what I came up with - it's just very light pre-slash.

Probably the best character study of Widowmaker and Pharah out there. Very unique. The author has remarkable literary prowess and an incredibly creative imagination. The story is filled profound analyses into the minds of the characters.
Oh, and it might just convert you into a Pharah/Widow shipper, too. ;)

She could prevent the next Widowmaker, she could keep her from suffering what Amelie suffered.
She could do so much in this moment.
But in this moment.

MoldySin brings us another RaptoraMaker fic, this time detailing Pharah's capture and unwilling conversion into the hands of Talon.
The story provides an excellent mix of complex plot, introspective thinking, and, to top it off, incredibly deep inter-character interactions that rival those of a murder mystery novel.

Summary
"So here she was thirty minutes and three arguments later -- because for some reason no one in her group could agree on a bar, so it was her that ultimately picked -- they'd found a booth in one of the higher end clubs. Pharah could appreciate the aesthetic and the name had been what had drawn her to choose in the first place -- she knew absolutely nothing about bars, beyond the seedy dive bars she went to for a quick drink."

What was supposed to be just a night of drinking turns out to be something a lot more interesting.

Fantastic. Smooth, flowing plot that provides a novel take on how Pharah and Widowmaker become friends. Author has great attention to detail, and gives a true-to-character depiction of the individuals in the novel while adding a realistic touch to make them completely come to life.
Expect lots of character development, an emotional rollercoaster, and most of all, expect to have a great sense of fulfillment after reading this story.
