Hot Rod is banished brom the Ark for injuring Bumblebee, and the fiery mech's brotherly relationship with Cliffjumper ends sourly despite the truth behind the magenta speedster's unintended actions toward the yellow scout.
Team Prowl and the trio of Wreckers have finally reunited with the Ark after escaping Sector 7 back in Massachusetts. The Ark is now bolstered with Autobot numbers.
Meanwhile, the amnesiac stranger in the Witwicky Household turns out to be the missing Optimus Prime, and his memories were slowly coming back to him as time progresses.
Unfortunately, as the Autobots have finally claimed their rightful base from MECH, the Decepticons have found their fuel source, with Soundwave intending to free their imprisoned leader behind Starscream's notice.
Will the Autobots stop the Decepticons from rescuing Megatron? But most importantly, will they be able to retrieve the coveted Allspark that is kept inside the same place along with the other Cybertronians prisoners?

You could make a case for said ‘not great’-ness starting when he first accidentally warped into an experimental Quintesson weapons base with violently angry little foot soldiers that seemed to have a love for biting at anything they could reach, but Prowl really considered it starting when the unfamiliar mech limped at unsafe speeds into the desecrated room with him.
