Summary
Among the ruins of an ancient temple, overgrown with tall grass and wildflowers, Apollo leaned lazily against a surviving column.
A herd of cattle grazed nearby, scattered like spots of white gold along the slope. Their movements were slow, peaceful, like the stillness of the place itself. Only the grass rustled and the wind whispered through the old ruins.
But the silence and tranquility, as always, were deceptive. Over the hill appeared a sly figure with winged sandals. -
