Inspired by the many Braime fics on this site and elsewhere of which I have grown so fond.(Taking place after The Long Night and the first few scenes of The Last of the Starks)

Season 5 rewrite that starts five days post-season 4 and focuses on the build-ups that the Suffer Brothers majorly disregarded in the final season. This is a full retelling that starts in spring of 1986 and ends in fall of 1987 (like in canon), but that's because I don't think Vecna would have retreated for 18 months without doing anything to torment or torture the Party, but I also think their ages made sense to the story and any younger would be a lot less believable.
Will's coming out(s) mean something. El's entire story arc means something. Mike not going to the Upside Down before season 5 means something. Will's connection to Vecna and the hivemind means something. Byler means something.
