Summary
Sometime after “Nightmares and Abolition”, Kate has sunk into despair. Saying goodbye to the ninja of Ninjago, the damage Fawful caused in the fight, and the realization that she may have to break her vow to never kill again just to ensure the safety of the universes have taken a toll on her.
While taking a walk by herself, she suddenly comes across a train. Upon entering it and unable to get off, the train cars seem to be endless. With getting off the train dangerous with the surrounding wasteland and the creatures that reside in it, and with a number on her hand that seems to be counting down, Kate decides to try to journey through the train and find another way to exit.
Along her journey, Kate comes across other passengers who are trapped on the train like her. What makes it even more shocking: they are all from other universes that she’s never been to. A half-human half-Gem teenager named Steven, a hero in training child named KO, an alicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle, and a black cat named Mao Mao.
Will they escape the train? Will they die trying as they navigate through the train cars? And who is the mysterious person that seems so interested in the group and is bent on capturing them?Series
