Donnie was predictably in his lab, the muffled thud-thud-thud of synth music just barely leaking through the soundproofing. Leo pulled on the door and found it locked. It was the middle of the night and he didn't want to wake everyone else by pounding on it, so he pulled out his phone and texted Donnie, 'knock knock'
Donnie replied instantaneously, 'Who's there?'
Leo smirked. 'doris'
'Doris who?'
'doris is locked, why do you think i'm knocking'
The music cut. Donnie opened the heavy door and said, "That's terrible."
"But effective." Leo replied, hands in his pockets, easy smile, even as his heart sunk like a rock at the sight before him.
