There is nothing to long for; the longing is useless. Even if someone had shared his mark, that wouldn’t have made him deserving. Even if Phainon were loved, that wouldn’t mean that he should be.
Oh my God oh my God this is just straight up evil. What a heart wrecking story. That part when he lied about his marks for the very first time... I just wish I am able to hug Phainon.
