A tear slid down Max's pale cheek before it fell and soaked the grass. The officer threw open the backseat door of the police car and pushed Max in.
"I love you!" The last words to grace El's ears before the door was slammed shut and the brunette was left standing there staring at the car with sobs trying to escape her lips.

Oh fuck I loved everything about this. The romance is so slow burn and I'm here for it like ughhh also Wade's relationship with the Avengers, also here for that. I just love everything about it. Especially Jonathan he was the real hero. Like ughhh! They are such cute little dorksss! Also Peter is such a smart bitch, and I've never seen that portrayed better then in this fic. Like this man. “Huh?” Peter parts from Wade with a furrowed, confused face. Wade laughs.
“Your son. Duh,” Wade answers as he pulls the other in for another peck. “You’ve met my little squirt, she adores you, so it’s only fair I get to meet yours.”
“My…son?” Peter is still lost until a look of realization spreads across his face and he does a breathy laugh. “Oh, you mean Miles?”
Miles. Huh, that’s a cool name. Is it from Star Wars or something? Peter always seemed like the type to name his kid after his favorite show. Or movies. Whatever. “Yeah! Your little buddy. The little guy. Petey jr.”
OR: Peter has met Wade's daughter a number of times, and now Wade really wants to meet the kid who he's fairly sure is Peter's son.
