Since he could remember, Lu Guang had enforced to him his three rules;
First: he has twelve hours, because that’s as far as Lu Guang can lead him—he’d been fucking around unsupervised in the past for three months now.
Second: follow Lu Guang’s lead, don’t make things up on his own—his life for the past several months had been a constant one-man improv show he was playing to his unknowing friends.
Third: the past and the future must remain unchanged—he supposed this would be his biggest betrayal, then. What it also meant was that Lu Guang couldn’t find out, or it would ruin everything between them. And ‘guilt’, he found, was a pretty decent word to describe it.

Especially when the boy looks alarmingly lonely despite being surrounded by his self-proclaimed favourite shidis and shimeis and family.
Alternatively, Wei Wuxian time travels alone from the verge of death to his teenage self. But it's shown from everyone's pov except his.

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang have been tasked with photographing a wedding in rural China. But on the first night there, Cheng Xiaoshi has an odd dream about him fighting a man with fiery red hair in the Time Photo Studio and getting shot. Each day, he has another strange dream, and waking from each one leads him to feel the pain of one person from each dream. Lu Guang seems more and more suspicous with each dream. What is this about abilties? Teleportation? Possession?
