    Dan Heng has been looking to the sun ever since he was released from the Shackling Prison all those years ago. No matter where he went, where he ran, what and who he saw, he'd always look back to the sun, but no sun he'd ever seen could ever match up to the eyes that looked at him with more kindness than he deserved that day he was set free- and exiled from Xianzhou Luofu.

    But he's no longer exiled. And he's once again face to face with the same sunlit eyes that set him free.

    There are centuries dividing himself and Jing Yuan, with a dead man in between.

    Dan Heng wants to close that gap. But doesn't know how.
