She's out of butter.
It's a stupid, stupid thing to cry about, but all she wants is a grilled cheese, and for once she has bread that hasn't gone moldy yet- but her fridge is practically bare, only a half-full carton of milk that was more than likely spoiled and a jar of pickles that was more brine than actual pickle left. Her cabinets aren't much better, a stale bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos, a box of movie theater butter popcorn she hadn't opened yet, and a singular sleeve of brown sugar cinnamon Pop-tarts inhabiting the shelves.
Samira really, really wants a grilled cheese.
