Summary
When Sam came back to the facility to shut down the Goa’uld forceshield, she'd expected to find Colonel O’Neill. She had actually planned on it. No man left behind.
But Sam hadn't expected to find a 12 year old kid named Daisy, who was somehow immune to Hathor’s breathing virus and... who had also rejected and killed a Goa’uld symbiote– Hathor herself, when Hathor had tried taking her over as a host.
She and Col. O'Neill had brought Daisy back home... and then things had gone wrong. Daisy was dying. Desperate, Sam and Jack used Ancient Technology to save Daisy, setting off a chain of events that would change their lives, the SGC, Earth, their galaxy and the universe.
Daisy didn't remember much from before Hathor had woken her up and tried to take over her body. Just her name and a few other things.
The next time she'd woken up, she'd met Sam and Jack. They'd escaped back to Earth, and she'd tried settling in there... and the next thing she knew, Sam and Jack had done something that changed things between all three of them.
She'd gained (regained?) her powers... and now, Daisy had to grow up- again (puberty, ugh.), but hey! atleast she liked the Stargate Programme and the SGC.

Summary
When Katniss learns that her roommate and fellow victor, Johanna Mason, was hospitalized after a training simulation, she’s overcome with guilt and remorse. How did she not realize the girl who sleeps across the room from her was suffering? Not put two and two together about her erratic behavior? We watch as Katniss grapples with these feelings, among others, and the two navigate the turbulent landscape of each other's emotions and traumas.
At its core, this fic a love letter to these characters and an exploration of the intricacies of how different traumas can affect a person and their loved ones over time. Whether actively experiencing trauma, freshly out of or long removed from said trauma, it can manifest almost the same as when it happened. When Katniss and Johanna grow to understand and navigate this with each other in 13, it becomes a question of whether or not they’ll continue to do so when the war is over.
This is a two-parter with an epilogue of sorts. The first part is in District 13, and the second takes place in another district I won’t disclose in this blurb. You have to read to find out!
