@NHLInsider There’s rumor going around that Page Six has evidence from last weekend’s All-Star Game that two NHL players are romantically linked. Checking my sources to see what I can find out. Will update later. This could have huge implications if true.

@hattrickzzzz @luverofhockey would it really be all that surprising? Hockey is one of the most homoerotic sports in existence. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they had whole team orgies after every game.

Summary
The first time they’d done this, in Ilya’s bed, Shane had been mystified at Rozanov’s insistence that he not enter the nest without Shane’s permission. Now, Shane feels something akin to smugness flexing its claws in his chest. A primal satisfaction at the rightness that he is the one with the power - at present, if not for much longer - alpha just outside the nest and at his mercy.
Like Shane will only yield for someone who has earned it. He can draw out Ilya’s suffering just a little longer, make him earn it.
Shane rakes his gaze over the delicious chest and bicep muscles bunching above the edge of the nest. “Waiting for something, Rozanov?”
“Are you going to let me into your nest, omega?” His pronunciation of the endearment is more Russian than English, accent thickening around the syllables.
“Depends. You gonna give me your knot?”
“Hm, does not sound like begging yet to me.”
Some months after Shane recovers from rejection sickness in Ilya's bed, they share their heat/rut together at the cottage, both clinging to the delusion it's still casual.

“I was not supposed to,” Rozanov murmurs, his thumb pressing harder into Shane’s sore gland, drawing a small involuntary squirm from him. “Go into rut here. Now.”
“But why-” Shane breathes, rubbing faintly against Rozanov’s chest, as if his body is trying to tuck itself closer on instinct alone. Rozanov lets out a rough sigh, his heartbeat stuttering loud enough for Shane to catch it.
“It’s you that should be in heat,” he says—no, states, heavy with frustration. “I think we… combined?”
“We synchronized,” Shane blurts, like the words arrange themselves for him, the one functioning corner of his brain lighting up in approval. “Fuck. That makes sense.”Or
