Cannibalism was only a resort for food, it was initially done out of desperation to not die of starvation. Wanting to fill your stomach with at least something to satisfy it. Independence comes at a cost, and for one fiercely self-reliant Omega, that cost is steep.What begins as another situation outside your control turns into an opportunity. The deal is simple: You stay with them under the pretense of courting their pack until the courts rule you no longer requires rehabilitation oversight. In exchange, the team gains the appearance of compliance with Omega welfare policies.
But proximity breeds complications. Beneath the tension lies something harder to define. Loyalty, attraction, and the fragile possibility of trust in a society that punished those who do not have the strength to back it. As external threats close in and internal walls begin to crack from all sides, the balance between performance and genuine connection blurs.
