Summary
Then the new gaffer calls his name from the door of the office, and it’s just fear and dread flooding in. Colin nods goodbye to Isaac, pulls his bag on, and heads over, relieved to be away from that conversation, but anxious. He hasn’t had a one-on-one with Coach Lasso yet.
Lasso’s smiling. He usually is, but it’s weird he’s doing that when Colin was so shit all training. That’s obviously why he’s been called over.
Or, Colin's journey through hate, shame and fear to love, forgiveness, and acceptance.

Summary
Alla didn’t see why the Lady Brienne had to get married. She could have named an heir: lots of old lords did it, especially in these days, after the war and the winter. It seemed such a waste of her magnificent, solitary rightness. And it seemed such a risk. This side of things had not occurred to Alla until the Lady Brienne had been brought to bed the preceding year, and her mother had shaken her head over the laundry and said that no woman should have to know both the battlefield and the birthing bed. Alla also didn’t see why the Lady Brienne had to marry him. She’d seen him, when the Lady Brienne brought him home to Tarth. She’d watched him since, training some of the older squires. She didn’t see why her lady would bind herself to a grim, greying man trailing legends of murder behind him.
