    We all know the story. Jake Sully marine shot and crippled in the line of duty. Alone he learned of his brothers death and with that, took his place in the avatar program.

    This story is much the same… but what if. What if Tommy and Jake reconnected due to Jake’s injury? What if Jake didn’t just hear about his twins death. What if Jake despised humanity and all the things that were taken from him. What if it wasn’t Neytiri that was chosen to train Jake. What if Jake just said fuck it. Fuck the humans, fuck the RDA. He was going to kill every single one of them and what if Ewya… was just a bit more present…

    "I've been throwing up, for a little over a month," he said, breaching the blissful silence. Neytiri opened her eyes, she was perched on the hammock leaning against the post it was attached to.

    "I did not think it was for that long."

    He breathed out, lowering his head, "Yeah… It wasn't at first, just me feeling sick."

    "And then," she cut herself off, but he knew who she was referring to.

    He nodded, "It's not just a sickness, Neytiri, I think it's more than that. I think…" He hesitated, saying it out loud would make it a real possibility, "I'm sensitive to tsaheylu, I'm sensitive to everyone's scents, and I'm getting headaches," bordering on migraines, but the different didn't matter, the pain was still there anyway.

    Neytiri inclined her head slightly, her ears raising. She eased off the hammock, coming to sit where he was, in the centre of the marui. She lifted her hand to his shoulder, leaning to stay in his line of sight.

    "I think I'm pregnant again."

    Stark silence.
