Summary
Bucky is slowly settling into the world after officially joining the Avengers and moving into the Tower with the rest of the team. During a small invasion and battle in New York, he is rescued by a woman that he feels drawn to protect. He brings her back to the Tower for medical help. Tony Stark wants her gone, but she’s quickly grown on the rest of the team and is quick to throw Tony’s snark right back at him. After spending a week at the Tower healing from her injuries, she discovers a secret about Tony’s past that changes the course of her life–-and Bucky’s.

That's when I love you, that's when“This is Clint Barton, he’s Hawkeye,” Steve introduced.
Bucky frowned at the man before him, something in his head nagging him that he looked familiar. Clint reached his hand toward Bucky, palm out and facing up.
“I love you.” A flash of blue eyes and blonde hair…but younger.
“Who are you?” Bucky asked quietly.
“I’m Clint,” he answered. “Honestly, when you were gone did you ever think of me?”
Bucky’s frown deepened. “Do I know you?”
“I’m going to buy this place one day. Fix it up." Another flash of golden hair, haloed by the sunset while his feet dangled over the water. "I’m telling you I’m gonna marry you someday."
____Clint continued on but he never forgot that summer he fell in love with the assassin who almost killed him.
Now he’s standing in the kitchen at Avengers Tower where Steve Rogers is introducing him to Bucky Barnes, who looks exactly the same even decades later. The problem is that Bucky doesn’t remember Clint.

Bucky Barnes is on a well-deserved vacation when he's offered an assassination contract on Clint Barton—a good-looking archery teacher with a penchant for dogs and coffee. He's hesitant at first, but that's a lot of zeros to be working with, and Barton doesn't seem like too a difficult target. Should be easy enough, right?
Clint Barton is in the middle of a date when he's offered an assassination contact on Bucky Barnes—a stunningly attractive museum curator who likes to ride motorcycles. He takes it immediately. That's a lot of zeros to be working with, and Barnes doesn't seem like too a difficult target. What could possibly go wrong?
Thus begins a week of increasingly ridiculous murder shenanigans, featuring Clint as a general human disaster, Bucky slowly realizing that denial's not just a river in Egypt, and both of them deciding that maybe—just maybe—they're into each other a little bit after all.

Dean is silent for a long, tense moment, then he gruffly says, "It's not for banishing the angels. It's to summon them. So, it doesn't—it's not to get rid of 'em, but to draw 'em in."
Mitzi can't help but glance up at him at that. His voice is so heavy with so much unexplained pain, and she doesn't understand why, or what angels have to do with it. She knows religion can impact people. She's very aware that it can get complicated, and that it can be a huge source of pain for someone, but Dean sounds grievously wronged, somehow, as if it's a truly personal thing.
She pushes through, focusing back on her job, clearing her throat before murmuring, "Well, I guess we all want angels to visit us sometimes."
"Just the one," Dean mumbles.
"Your guardian angel?" Mitzi asks.
Dean breathes out, "Something like that. As close to one as an angel will ever get."
