Summary
In 1180, the continent of Fódlan was blind to the precipice it rested on. A princess bared within her rebellious, revolutionary ideas, a prince was attempting to outrun the demons in his shadow, and a newly-proclamed duke struggled to live in a world not meant for him. Byleth Eisner, daughter of Jeralt Eisner the Blade Breaker, was unaware of what haunted her mind, or why her father did not speak of his past. A chance encounter brings her to the place that could answer her questions, if she knew to ask them.
War looms hidden over the horizion, and as Byleth is forced to step up as teacher, commander, and friend, the only thing she can do is attempt to cut out the corruption at the center of this conspiracy root and stem, lest it take everything she loves.
