Summary
Joining the ADA was the best thing to happen to Atsushi Nakajima but the last three years have put the weretiger through the wringer. He loves the work he does, or at least the part where the city is saved and there’s momentary peace. But it’s become a thankless job that leaves him too tired for a proper dating life.
Maybe he’d be less jaded if he didn’t have to pick up the slack for omegas when they drop everything for heat-related paid time off. It may not be their fault, but why does being a beta have to mean more work?
And on top of that, his rival-turned-mission partner is an alpha who keeps him at a cold distance due to their social dynamic. Atsushi often wonders if it’ll always be this strained between them.
When Atsushi feels at his lowest, a fantasy catches him off guard. One where he gets to call out of work for suddenly presenting as an omega in heat — could Atsushi’s annoyance towards omegas actually be jealousy?
As he goes down a rabbit hole of the alluring world of omegas and alphas, he can’t help but wonder if he could fake being a late bloomer for paid time off. And if he pulls it off, can he sleep with the consequences that come?

Summary
Atsushi Nakajima grew up with a fascination for the ocean, always dreaming of creatures hidden beneath dark waves, both real and imaginary. It was inevitable that he’d become a marine biologist.
His life takes a turn when a job opportunity introduces him to Akutagawa, a broody and hostile merman. Despite a rocky start, a friendship blossoms with the promise of more. As Atsushi makes progress studying Akutagawa, he becomes conflicted about the merman’s captivity.
Something sinister lurks beneath the surface of the science lab and it may not be the one they call ‘devil fish’.

The hallway was packed, bodies brushing against each other with every step. Akutagawa hated this kind of contact—the heat, the noise, the way people bumped into him. It made his skin crawl. Suddenly, loud shouts of excitement erupted from up ahead, snapping him out of his daze.
"No way! It’s Spider-Man!"
Wait…what?
Or an AU where Atsushi is Spider-Man, forming a bond with Akutagawa. And many other characters will also play their roles in this story!
