He still wasn't sure what that Neuvillette was, but he couldn't have been human. Or… Maybe he was, and Ajax really was just weak."Ah… Childe? Are you okay?!" Ajax blinked out of his self deprecation, looking up at Lumine before he felt pain shoot through his body. He coughed out, realizing he'd subconsciously grabbed his chest in pain that he hadn't realized was there to begin with.
"I-I'm fine." He said with a sharp, cold tone in his voice.

Summary
His presence is closer now. He’s leaning into Vash's space as he works the buttons of his coat through their holes, breathing the same air as him. It makes Vash's teeth ache. The skin of the priest's neck is bared to him, his dress shirt perpetually unbuttoned. Vash sways infinitesimally forward, jaw opening and poised to take a taste, before his eyes meet a questioning dark gaze. Wolfwood's mouth moves like he's saying something, but the buzzing in Vash’s ears drowns out any words he would be able to hear otherwise.
Vash misjudges the amount of time he has to hide himself away before his yearly cycle. Wolfwood bears witness.

In record high temperatures, stuck in a town waiting for a sand steamer to take off — Vash and Wolfwood set out to satiate thirst.
Too much, he thinks. The heat. His imagination running wild like a feral creature he could barely wrangle into submission. Jaw locked, teeth set, tongue pressed to the roof of his mouth as hard as he could. How hard he is. Hungry flesh, a parched throat. Tonight, every part of his mind and body wants.
At this point Wolfwood thinks it would just be better to literally set himself on fire.

There was no preamble to Cyno’s entrance into Tighnari’s hut; just heavy, frantic stomps and the thrust of a tanned, lean forearm through the curtain and then suddenly the General Mahamatra was there, winded, eyes roving, the crackle of lightning an invisible aura around him.
“Let’s try that again,” Tighnari drawled. “’Hi, Tighnari. How are you? I was just stopping by—.’”
Tighnari lost his words as Cyno ate up the distance between them. “Show. Me.”

Events take place after the Inazuma archon quest and the rest is creative liberties with some tinkering to the established lore ( the genshin anthology date is implied in the beginning of the story)

Also sorry if the chapters change a lot this is my first fic and I'm kinda writing this for myself to scratch the itch this ship has had on my brain.

A good impression on the most important night of the year was essential. The Danse au Jugement built the trends and connections for the rest of the year. If Lumine played her cards right, it could lead to a meeting with the Hydro Archon. So having a member of Fontaine’s Court show up with a ball invitation was quite the opportunity. He was handsome, well-connected, and rich. A perfect date, except for one problem.
Lumine could overlook the whole Harbinger thing; she couldn’t overlook the urge to wipe the smirk off of his face.
